Type 2 to type 1 adapter
Ideal for any Nissan Leaf 30kwh (or 24kwh). The majority of the UK destination charge stations (public network or private) have a tethered cable with a type 2 end which plugs into the car. Since Nissan Leafs have a type 1 socket on the car you can't simply use a type 2 tether cable. This adapter allows you to use a tethered AC connection which has a type 2 plug, just add the adapter to the cable connection then plug the adapter into the car socket.I've successfully used this on a variety of charge stations with no connection or communication issues between the car & charger.More flexibility & choice of chargers with a small adapter which takes up very little space in the car.

Does what is supposed to do
Works perfectly well on my Mitsubishi Outlander. I've got a new charger which didn't fit my Outlander. This adaptor did the trick

Works well, great price but no way to lock into the car.
This works great and let's me charge my leaf on my new type 2 charger. However a bit worried that it doesn't lock into the car so could be stolen quite easily.
