I just received my copies of the Positive Discipline Tools for Teachers, and I must say this is my new favorite Positive Discipline book! I love the format of describing the tool, giving real examples of its use, and then sharing the research that backs it up. It is easy to read for busy educators and provides a helpful script, moving the common sense idea to practical application.I can see myself and educators at my school using this as a handy reference to be read over and over. This book is filled with practical tools, specific in school examples of the tools being used, and research supporting each one. Each Positive Discipline principle is clearly explained, and the tools are laid out in a way that they are easy to implement. It will help a school staff teach social-emotional skills to students, so they are more engaged, responsible, can solve problems and contribute to the class and school community. It is well written, and a must have for every person working in schools.This would make a great gift for any teacher!

So glad I found this book in such good condition for such a good price. And the sellers were so easy to work with. Definitely deserve the five stars.

Enjoyed reading this. It has a lot of useful ideas and supports the suggestions with stories from teachers and research. The ideas are easy to implement.

I've been reading many books on classroom management and unfortunately most have been only okay; they are usually overly simple and become dull and repetitive after the first couple chapters. This book is different, and it's depth becomes apparent within the first few pages. It is clear, insightful, and well written, and covers a wide variety of topics and strategies succinctly.

This is an interesting and engaging book. It is clear that the methods used were well researched and tested. I look forward to the day when I will have my own classroom and can try out the different techniques. I also plan to invest in the positive discipline parenting book to use with my own children.

I enjoyed the different forms of ideas it shared in the book.
