Reach for it, stranger!
I needed this extension pole to allow me to use my new EGO Power+ power head with hedge trimmer attachment to trim some hanging branches that were about 10-15 feet above the ground. Because of the terrain I couldn't use a ladder, and this looked like a good choice. To keep down the suspense, I'll start by saying: Yes, it was a very good choice! This is a simple extension pole made specifically for the EGO Power+ power heads. It was packed in a simple box and came at an attractive price. Putting it to use was easy--take it out of the box, line up the arrows with the power head, snap it in. I attached the hedge trimmer, then tried it with the brush cutter. Connecting and disconnecting the attachments were simple and quick.I was a bit surprised at just how much reach I got from it. Once I attached the extension and the hedge trimmer, The tool was about 9 feet long. I was able to reach the high limbs with no problems. The extension had no problem transmitting full power to the heads.I would have preferred that the extension be made of carbon fiber. That would make it lighter and stronger, and make it match the power head. Not a big deal, and I wouldn't trade it in at this point!I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs to add some reach to their EGO Power+ tools.

Useful extension for pole saw, but a little pricey
I purchased this extension for an EGO POWER Multi System 56-volt 10-in 2.5 Ah Pole Saw to increase reach. The net increase is approximately 24", accounting for the length of insertion into the power head and pole saw attachment. The extension is sturdy. The camps and attach latches are solid, fit and finish is excellent, and there is no problem with the center drive mechanism. The extension is light weight and has virtually no impact on balance of the saw in use. The heaviest part of the saw is at the far end battery, which make the saw steady and easy to control.

Works as Designed
Bought the 31-inch Extension Pole Attachment to use with the EGO Power Head and Saw pole. It allowed me to reach higher in the trees to easily cut branches off. It keeps me off ladders and makes it safer for me to do my chores.

multiple extensions work together
When I was looking to buy the pole saw I was also looking at the EP7500. The one question I had, which no one answered, was "can you use multiple EP7500's together"? I can now say - YES.One reviewer said it was not recommended but I did not see any statements in the pole saw manual saying you are limited to one extension and the EP7500 has no manual.I bought two EP7500 extensions - they work together. I'm 6 feet tall. Holding the pole saw, with two extensions, over my head I was able to cut a branch around 15-20 feet above the ground. Personally, I don't think I would have a problem using 3 or even 4 extensions but I think any more might be too much for me to handle. Remember, you have a 7 pound weight (with the bar chain oil) that is going to bounce about out on a long pole that flexes. The longer you go, the more likely the pole will not be able to handle the strain. Also, be careful walking around with this contraption. I almost smashed a window and almost hit the car forgetting I had this 12 ft long monstrosity.I found that a good way to attach the segments is push them together, if the one doesn't push all the way in, pull it out slightly, turn it, and try again. Once it pushes in all the way, turn it back into the correct position (marked by the arrow), then pull it out slightly and push it in again until you hear the click. Then tighten the screw. At first I wall pulling it out completely and using my hand turning the drive rod a little and then trying to re-seat it - what a pain that was.My next test will be multiple extensions with the hedge trimmer attachment (Carbon Fiber since it is almost a pound lighter). Once I have tried this, I will update this review to say how that worked. I'll also add measurements for both the pole saw and hedge trimmer. All measurements are end-to-end no battery installedPole Saw (PSA1000), Power Head(PH1400), Extension(EP7500)86.25 inched: Head + Saw114.50 inches: Head + Saw + 1 extension142.75 inches: Head + Saw + 2 extensions

Works good, highly recommend to loosen collars and align saw blade so it's as straight as possible and resecure or will vibrate and not cut properly.
