Perfect for our needs
I ordered this product for my elderly mother who has moderate Dementia. I use the velcro to attach it to the side rails of her bed and it works very well. It has saved her from falling out of bed several times in the short time that I have had it! The round shape of the magnet allows it to pop fee from any angle, but is strong enough so that it does not come out too easily. I have had no problem with it coming loose unless she is actually attempting to get out of bed. I recommend this product if you have a loved one you need to keep safe from falling when attempting to get out of bed on their own.

Bed alarm
Worked very well during the night for my mom. I could rest better because I immediately knew when she was up

good alarm to let you know when a bed/or chair ...
Clear and loud, good alarm to let you know when a bed/or chair bound person is ambulating. Didn't give it five stars because base was hard to anchor when using a hospital bed. Alarm would easily slip off bedside table.

Very affective device!
This alarm does its job! Dad has dementia and is elderly with a huge fall risk. He gets frequently agitated and sometimes tries to leave his bed or chair. He really needs a walker and help getting up but is strong enough to exit his bed or chair by himself if he is really determined. This alarm attaches to the clothing near the shoulder. if he gets too high or far the magnet attached to the alarm disengages and the alarm goes off allowing us to get to his side to prevent a fall. Thankfully, when he fell before he didn't break anything, but we had a huge set back with him because of fear to the point where he was afraid to get out of bed for fear of falling again. This alarm signals us that he is doing more than fidgeting but rather trying to get up unattended.
