The spring is for a consistent tamping pressure. “Calibrated” it should be either 25 or 30psi

Bad Material & Mechanism .. Dangerous

It’s really bad choice material with awful mechanism. It was stock in when I was trying to change the level of depth. Harmful sharp edges cause wounds to my hand trying to change the level. It was damage when using pliers. Also, uneven level when use the tamper. Waste of money. Just stay away if you wanna be safe.
