Q: Would this work to "paint" the top (not the soles) of a pair of shoes (red)? I need something that has some "give" so it won't crack in the crease.

Yes, you can use this product to seal the inside of the bag. I would not recommend spraying into the bag. Turn the bag inside out to apply the product to prevent the build up of fumes. Use multiple thin layers to coat the bag once you turn it inside out. Allow time for the layer to dry before applying the next. The Product will fully cure in 24-48hrs.

Q: The rock panel under the doors on my truck are badly rusted out like swiss cheese. Will this repair that and if not which product will?

Not sure it would or wouldn’t but From experience I wouldn’t. I used fiberglass to repair my heater channel on a 1970 VW bug and would think that would be similar if you are trying to avoid cutting out and adding new sheet metal.
