It Really Works
I purchased this backup device to save my wife's and my phone photos and save them on our home computers. I have a Pixel 8 and she has an iPhone 14. So we need one piece of equipment to work with two different systems. this product does it. After downloading the app to make the life pack up product work it took me about 10 minutes to master the app and started downloading files. I was able to back up both phones in about 15 minutes. I would recommend this product to anyone. Great product at a reasonable price for what it does (saves memories and important files that can be easily accessed).

Finally got one.. it connects to my tablet and my phone easily. Seems to have stored the info.

Very Expensive Huge Mistake
Worked, kind of, initially but, after a short while, quit altogether. This app/device is a serious resource hog, which won’t let go of those resources, and ultimately puts a serious drain on the battery. Backing up the photos was easy enough, albeit a sloooooowwww process, but don’t even try creating albums and moving photos to those albums. That’s when everything came to a screeching halt. The app doesn’t work at all now and, even though I’m no longer attempting to use it, my battery shows that PhotoStick is using 70% of my its capacity. Pinterest only shows 3% and I’m a serious Pinterest junky. Hmmm! Oh… and a word about the app itself… it’s awful. Poorly designed and not well thought out. The initial backup and album creation parts were OK but moving the photos over to created albums was not intuitive and cumbersome. And, as a bit of cred on my part, I am a software engineer in a career that spanned about 30 years. As an FYI, I am using an iPhone 14Pro. Parting words: I am deleting the app so I can get my resources back and take the drain off my battery. Ugh!

Works well.
Takes a learning curve but appears to work. The tutorial video helps a lot.

As advertised
Took a little bit of figuring out how to download pictures but once we figured it out, yay!

It wasn’t easy enough for me to understand
My phone storage was full with over 63,000 pictures and videos. It was telling me I had run out of storage and many of my apps would no longer work due to this. I knew I had to get pictures off my phone, but how? I’m almost 60 and not as tech savvy as I once was. This memory stick transfer tool looked like the perfect solution. Even though it was quite pricey I figured it would be a quick fix, so it would be worth it. Well, it wasn’t! It took some photos off my phone (didn’t delete them tho) and when I plugged the memory stick into my laptop for the ‘transfer magic’ to happen… nothing. What the app said should happen, didn’t. I tried for days to figure it out and couldn’t. But I DID figure out how to get my stuff in the cloud! I had my son come for a visit and asked him to clean out the memory stick so it was empty again, which he did, and I returned it. I wish it had been easier for me to use. Maybe a 20 or 30 year old would’ve understood it, but this 60 year old didn’t! Why can’t things be super simple for older folks??

Cell phone extraction
What a great buy to get thousands of pics off phone to computer to free up storage.

Sounds like a good idea.
I wish this was as simple as the instructions. I never could tell if it was loading pictures and how long to leave it in the phone. The end for my iPhone 15 got stuck and when I pulled it out of the phone, the end stayed in phone. And now I've lost the cost of this item and still need to save my pictures.
