High Volume Air Duct Booster
I have this in an attic duct as a booster for my stove vent. I added it since the stove vent ducting required too many turns and too long a distance for the primary stove vent fan to really work properly. It works! It's relatively quiet (other than the air rushing noise, which is to be expected). It's solidly built, and comes with decent instructions. If you call the company, they can give you links to PDFs with plenty of size etc specs. This fan is highly recommended (so far - it's only been in use a short time. If I encounter any problems, I will follow up). Please note: most companies I called did not recommend their fan for stove vent boosters; Soler & Palau specifically told me this fan is designed for this. They recommend I clean the fan blades annually (which will be a pain, since I will have to disassemble the ducts).I have this set up on a hardwired switch; I assume there are options for auto on/off, but I didn't research them.

Great fan-bad bracket
The fan really sucks and blows and in this case that's a good thing. I just got tired of those commercial bathroom fans that basically just make noise. This one worksI took one star off because the supplied bracket does not support the weight of the fan and the second you let go of the fan it bends.I wound up using plumber's tape to hold up the non-bracket side. The little screws that hold the two halves of the fan together are just the right size to go through the small holes on the plumber's tape. I used 2 runs of plumber's tape on each fan

Not cheap but neither is the fan.
Very well made and works well in static pressure environments.
