Q: Is there any metal in this knife?

This tool has very little metal in it. The pivot for the blade is a hollow, thin brass tube, which is electrically conductive and non-magnetic. The rest is ceramic and plastic. It should be reasonably safe to carry around strong magnetic fields (both attractive and inductive), and won't register on magnetic scan 'metal detectors.' However, be aware that lots of detection devices these days no longer use magnetism; for instance, the millimeter-wave 'body scan' units at airports look for density variations - which this tool has a lot of.

Q: How thick is the handle (i see that the blade is 0.0275")?

The handle is 2.75mm thick; just a hair under 3mm

Q: Are these TSA compliant?

It would be best to ask the TSA directly. I fly with them checked.

Q: Can I replace the blade by removing the pivot?

The pivot point is a standard rivet - "you could" replace the blade by popping out the rivet and repunching a new one with a rivet punch tool. Nothing you could do with a pliers. This is not recommended, but yes it is doable to replace
