You may or may not need the hardware which is included. We did not as we simply used the existing holes in the couch and screwed them in. Easy, peasy!

This was the best purchase of my life. The quality is 10/10 but the best part of it all, the setup. Extremely easy, effective, quick and beginner friendly. I highly suggest. This did not disappoint. It just screwed right in and it holds a lot of weight. Very sturdy and overall just made my whole day.

I am replacing chair legs that are a bit too short. Weight-bearing furniture like chairs and sofas use 3/8" hanger bolts. not 5/16. The chair I'm modifying has its hanger hardware mounted in a way that I can't replace it with the 5/16 hardware they provide in the package. Be sure of the size of your hardware if you are replacing legs on furniture that already has hardware.

There isn’t much that one needs to know about furniture leg. This is the most common style sold here, though oddly round tapered ones are not usually stocked by the two major home improvement stores, especially in a variety of lengths. You do need to know that there are two different thread diameters for the hanger bolts, although 5//16 like these are the most common. What they don’t tell you is that the length of the bolt is important too. There are two common styles of mounting plates, one uses a short stud that only goes into the plate itself and the other is a longer bolt that goes through the plate and into a hole drilled into the furniture itself. The former is more common on smaller items like end tables while the latter may be found on couches and larger items. The two most common styles of plates themselves are those that have the legs attach straight down and those that attach at an angle.These legs use a longer bolt, that may be a concern so be sure to measure the maximum depth of the hole in the mounting plate before ordering. I like that they do come with a kit of four mounting plates for either DYI projects or to replace what you have now.THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOWMost of the sofa legs I see on furniture in stores these days are plastic, and since they are hidden from view cosmetics aren’t important. However if you are replacing legs on a table, how the legs looks would be important. These are available in black or a medium walnut, which is what I bought. These are sanded or finished in a satin walnut. From a distance they look fine. Also know that the ends are not angled, they arrive with bare wood end but have four self stick non-slip rubber pads.YES OR NOThe one thing that no one will know just by looking at them is if they really are solid wood and if the wood is a good enough quality that it won’t crack or split. My belief is that the wood is a good enough grade to be used with common household furniture. I went by the number of positive reviews, while there are several brands this one has by far the most positive ratings. I found nothing negative about them.

This is a great product. I’m genuinely surprised it gets returned so often—I’m very happy with it. It looks exactly like the photo, feels sturdy, and is easy to assemble or screw in. Overall, I’m really satisfied and would highly recommend it.

Perfect. I bought a couch and it came with legs that were only two inches tall. Searched and found these 8 inch legs. Match the couch well, good quality and are sturdy. Now my couch is a comfortable height from the ground thanks to these legs.
