Happy customer
This game is awesome. I love how detailed it is. I recommend the game and the seller. As the item arrived on time and packaged perfect. I play this game for hours on end. I love how I can play with other teams from other leagues, such as the flint firebirds and Saginaw spirit. Great game

Absolute steal at $15
I don't play the newest games anymore, I play them on a lag of at least 2-3 years to allow all the patches, bug fixes, DLCs, etc. to all come out and purchase at steep discount later, such is this case with this game. $15 for a game that's two years old and looks the same as it has for the last decade??? Sure, I'll dip my toes in! This is my 2nd sports game I've played in 19 years, the last one being Madden NFL04. This game is great fun as a newish hockey fan, and I enjoyed it so much that I got the new NHL24 as well :)

Damn Fun
This is my first hockey game since NHL 94 and was shocked to see that the game has controller options to play with those same controls. It really helped me get into the game faster and enjoy a nice casual hockey game.I will say, if this franchise is anything like the Madden games, if you played last year's NHL game, this just might be more of the same.

A good hockey game, even for light fans
I used to play hockey games on my sega genesis in the 90's. I liked the simplistic controls at the time and wanted to find something that could mimic that. I love that this game (while a lot more difficult to play), can utilize similar controls by changing them in the settings. Graphics are good, animations are good, sound is not too bad. Some announcer sequences are a bit repetitive but do not take from the game enough to worry about.

Same exact game as last year but on PS5
I am a huge hockey fan and I played a lot of NHL 21. I was hopeful NHL 22 was going to give me the same hours of enjoyment as last years edition did, but alas it just was the same thing I was playing back in June. Sure the updated rosters are a nice touch, but if you are like me and only play your favorite team the handful of name changes isn't enough to warrant a new game.I say it is the exact same game because they didn't add anything to it. All the same game modes, almost the same graphics despite this being the PS5 I couldn't tell between that and the Xbox One version of 21 that I played. The biggest kicker to me is they had the exact same trophies as well. With video games having a ton of sequels and remakes and such it is expected that games in the series should be similar enough that if you asked how does Call of Duty Vanguard play and someone replies with like a Call of Duty game. That is what should be expected. Believe me I didn't want a completely overhauled game, but just a touch more. They did add some new commentary which is nice until you've played half a season with these guys. If you are like me you ended up just playing a podcast in the background while playing the game. They also added to more popular players these things that are highlighting their specialties. For example Miko Rantanen had this slap shot thing where he specializes in getting the puck in quickly. They weren't very clear if these were abilities or just highlighting the players.Regardless I would say only get this game if you missed out on the last couple years I can certainly see it being worth it. Otherwise if you have last years just play that it is basically the same game. Until next time friends.
