I just got this flashlight, and after about 40 minutes of use on high it started strobing whenever I turn it on high. Does anyone know this problem?

I have had the same problem with several of these flashlights. Brand new, brand new batteries and after about a minute on, begins to strobe flash. Have no idea why, extremely annoying.

I've used the Energizer Pivot Plus LED Flashlight for several years on an almost daily basis. I actually purchased four over the years for the car, bed end-table, emergency response box and balcony. It's great when the electricity goes out at night. I pivot the head upward so the reflection on the ceiling lights the room just enough to get around. The magnet on the end is great for attaching the flashlight to the car when checking the engine at night. I'm considering buying a couple of more.

Is there some kind of in-store "test mode" or something that I need to disable? Just got mine in delivered and it won't work.

I don't know, but normally I remove the battery and reinstall it. And it works.
