Q: Does this mouse use a unifying receiver?

No, contrary to what the description suggests, it does NOT come with a unifying receiver. Unifying receivers come with a little red star logo on them; this one doesn't have one on its USB receiver. This M330 mouse is a unifying mouse, but for some reason, Logitech has decided not to include a Unifying receiver with it. That means you can't use its USB receiver to connect multiple Logitech USB Unifying devices--it'll take up another USB port, just for this mouse. I'm thinking about returning this mouse due to the misleading product description, and buying a Bluetooth mouse instead.

Q: How silent is the scroll wheel???

My silent mouse has a somewhat loose scrolling wheel and I can hear the scrolling.
