Q: What RPM is most effective? 2000? 20,000? 40,000?

To be completely honest, I have a dirt cheap Black and Decker corded drill that advertises 1500 rpm’s and it does great for wood.

Q: Is it bigger than the three pack for $20

So the 3 pack is for 3 different grits..

Q: Is this a hex quick connect? You have two different kinds pictured. I bought two before and one time you sent me the wrong kind.

This is not a hex connect. This is a rather flimsy tool with a round shank. This is definitely not for any heavy duty jobs you might have. I was hoping to use mine for paint preparation on my house but found it to be almost useless for that intended use. Nylon bristles are softer than I needed for my project.

Q: Does it rust and does it maintain its shape

I never left mine outside so don’t know if it rusts but the nylon brush is not very hard. I got it to help get rid of old paint but the bristles are not hard and it did not do a terrific job. As far as maintaining it’s shape, I have not had trouble with it losing shape but the nylon bristles fray over time. Had I known all this before I purchased I would have found a better tool.
