Comfortable and stretchy, Hybrid Cargo Shorts form-fit to your body like you were born wearing a pair. Made from a mix of quality 1mm neoprene and nylon, on the inside a micro-plush lining makes the shorts warm and cozy. This plush lining absorbs less water, increasing overall warmth, plus dries quickly. The updated design features a new adjustable waist belt that replaces the prior drawstring. The belt threads through a series of belt loops and includes an easy-to-use male/female squeeze buckle closure. A new anti-abrasion fabric on the seat panel enhances durability, and the two large cargo pockets are handy for carrying money, sunglasses or other accessories when enjoying a day on the beach or dive boat. Hybrid Cargo Shorts are designed to be worn either by themselves or over a dive suit.

Good quality, no issues
Runs a little small. Recommend going one size up. Big pockets, fit well. Works over swim trunks or my 3mm wetsuit.

Excellent Product
I bought these shorts after seeing them worn my another diver on recent trip. As I’m tired of feeling like a Christmas Tree with all kinds of gear hanging off of my dive BCD I decided to give them a try. Boy am I glad that I did! The shorts are sturdy, fit well, and have tons of pocket space. I didn’t feel like the shorts created any additional buoyancy, but they do generate a small amount of drag, so possibly an issue when diving with strong currents. I definitely recommend.

Size, pocket closures.
I scuba dive and have always wanted more pocket space on my bc. This looked interesting since I'm a warm water diver. So first size.I ordered a medium. I wear a 34 waist in mens jeans and other everyday clothes that's a comfortable fit that requires a belt.I'm 6ft, 170lbs. If that helps.I had to loosen the belt on arrival but after it fit.Its snug but wet suits are most effective when snug. You aren't going to easily pull this over a pair of swim trunks easily, which is common on wet suits. I would say it was built to be the layer against your skin or possibly with a speedo under or a short square leg trunk, skin tight. I mention this because those types of swimsuits are uncommon in US culture. If you plan on peeling this on or off on a dive boat you need to consider your own level of modesty.Pockets: the velcro closures should secure anything light: folding snorkel, extra mask, pocket mask. Anything with weight will want to be clipped to a string loop that I'd in the pocket. That velcro probably wont hold when you are inverted under water. The only problem I see is the challenge of unclipping blindly. So smb and reel you will have to be able to blindly unclip. No biggy with minimal practice under calm conditions but any emergency response gear might be challenging to unclip while your adrenaline is pumping. I would have preferred pockets that zipped closed like a bc. That's the only thing bringing it down to 5 stars for me.Certainly it's a bit pricey for what it is, but it does say ScubaPro on it and you are buying brand quality reputation (which they do have).

Way too small
Amazon suggested XL which is supposed to be a 37- 39 in waist but it’s actually 33-34 which is more like a medium. Total waste of money.

Sizing is off
Bought Medium based on chart. Too small. Returned and ordered large. Still too small. Size 32 waist and can barley get into Large.
