The dressing combines a low-grip viscose knitted fabric impregnated with a polyethylene glycol (PEG) base containing 10% idopovidone; equivalent to 1.0% available iodine. Inadine minimizes adhesion to the wound, thereby reducing the risk of damaging the granulation tissue upon removal of the bandage. When Inadine releases PVP-I, the dressing will change color from orange to white, indicating to change it.
