Q: Are the ingredients in the "new packaging" identical to the old version of Defrisant?

I don't know but I hope so because I was not able to get the larger size with the new packaging version

i've also been using this for years and to me it seems to be the same product but with different packaging.

Q: Can I use a straightener after blow drying?

Probably but you may not need to. After drying my hair I just use a flat iron to straighten and it works for me.

Q: Is this for black People hair?

I am not black, but I have unruly curly hair. I did not find it made much difference, not thick enough for me, doubtful it would with for you. I even mixed it with another cream based product... still didn't do enough fit the frizz or moisturize and organize my curl. Best of luck. Hope this helps.
