I use these all the time on my bass guitar. My fingers were suffering and having nerve damage, so I tried these, and they did the job of protecting my fingers. Was glad there are a lot of them in this little kit, too.

I had always hated that when I would not play the guitar for a long period I would find my fingers hurt from pressing strings onto frets, especially metal strings. Nylon strings are not as bad but I prefer steel strings for sound. I happened across these and though I would give it a try. It came with a good assortment of sizes so unless you have extremely large fingers they should fit you. They do all but eliminate any pain but at the same time they cause me an loss of tactile feel that I previously did not realize was helpful. So I had to keep an eye on my finger position more. Overall the do what they claim and I recommend them to anyone that might benefit from them, especially beginners.

First, I have to say that I did not purchase these for their intended purpose. If I had, they would be more unusable than they are for my purpose. My purpose is to keep the index fingernail of my picking hand from being worn away by the strings. I could never imagine using these on my cording hand. They seem too bulky and not very maneuverable on the strings. My problem is that they don’t fit as stated. The largest tip cover in the box does not fit my index finger. It is so tight that it cuts off the blood supply eventually leading to numbness in my finger. I have average male hands. I can only imagine that these might fit children and persons with very small hands. I bought two brands, and neither fit.

I love these...I use them for a different reason though. I wear them at work so my nails don't chip from typing on a computer all day. Perfect solution. Great fit.

They fit just right on fingers. I only use 4,not thumb cover. Very comfortable, I don't have a problem with cords,they are snug enough thar it doesn't get in the way.

After playing for 30 years, I developed a nerve pain on the tip of my finger that kept me from playing guitar. A VERY SHARP PAIN.I tried these to keep the string from pressing on the nerve...and it worked for me. It is a little tricky keeping the adjacent string from muting. That being said, at least I can play guitar again.
