Osprey Daylite Plus Commuter Backpack, Black

Ospreys are great packs - some say a bit heavy for their capacity, but I'll trade ounces for durability. I got this as a companion day pack for my Farpoint 80l. It attaches nicely to loops on the Farpoint.This is a basic "napsack" meaning no frame, no padded hip belt, and minimal padding, so you really don't want more than 15lbs in it. At that weight this is a comfortable pack. I love the sunburst orange I was able to find. Seems the color is discontinued and there was quite a discount on it.

OK yall I'm old and have creaky joints and bones. I have had 2 surgeries on my shoulders and I've broken my back and sprained my neck. I love to hike but the thought of a backpack made me cringe because of the pain it caused. I did lots of research and decided to try Osprey brand. I am NOT disappointed one bit!! Finally a backpack that doesn't cause pain and stiffness in my shoulders and neck!!!! The weight transfers to your butt so I'm hoping with daily use I'll lose some of it and maybe even tone up the chub rub 😂😂. The design also sold me!! I love the forest design. Bonus for my 40 oz water bottle fitting in the sides. It also has a lot of room and different compartments.

I LOVE this bag! I use it primarily as a light backpack for flights and hiking and it fits my needs perfectly! Quality is great, many color ways to choose from, and extremely functional! I don't require much! Biggest thing I was looking for is a side pocket that fits my water bottles well to where I can take it out and put it back with ease (i.e. not have to fight or struggle to get the bottle back in, major per peece!). The mesh pockets allow my 40oz Owala bottles (even the one with a side handle) to slide in and out with ease. And then the small front pocket is great for easy access to my wallet/ID cards and meds. Another bonus is that the backpack can also slide onto the handle of a carry on luggage! Which makes it all the better to fly with. The chest and hip straps also gives good support too. Also I have multiple osprey bags that I've used for years and the quality is still there! Yep, can't rave enough about this bag, definitely worth it!

I love Osprey packs and have several. This is definitely a "day pack" size. The color is pretty different from how it looks on the screen. Rather than a peacock blue it is more of a dark grey-blue, hence four instead of five stars. The front hinge pocket is small. Can hold a paper-back or e-reader. I was happy to see it did hold my MacBook Pro in the internal sleeve. The internal volume is fine for day activity. Osprey packs are VERY durable and this pack is light weight, perfect for travel.

Great backpack for hiking and minimalist travel.

Purpose: 8 hours of amenities.This will basically fit all of: 1) a pullover, light jacket, or hoodie, 2) a laptop and/or tablet, 3) a book, 4) a pair of noise canceling headphones, 5) lots of small accessories (phone, pen, chargers, etc.), 6) a couple of water bottles, and 7) snacks and/or light lunch.This works perfectly for me because I use it for work and as a carry on (with checked bags—so this is just for essentials while on the plane). When I was in law school years ago, I used a much bigger bag that could hold 4 or 5 case books. This is not a law school backpack.Color: BlackI recommend the black. It’s more of a graphite or charcoal than jet black. It’s very sleek and classy. When choosing, I really liked some of the other colors better, but I had to remind myself you’re getting something to take with you everywhere, not something to stare at all day. So, I denied my instincts and went with black and am glad I did.

Great lightweight 20 Liter daypack for hiking or school. Very well made backpack. Excellent designed pack with versatile pockets. Fits possibly up to 17" laptop without a sleeve or a water bladder. Fits extremely comfortably with adjustable straps. I highly recommend, and easily 5 stars.
