My husband works outside in the mountains of Colorado. He has not had to wear his jacket with these. He loves these and they keep him very comfortably warm. He say if the temperature is 20 or below they are perfect. He wore them when it was 25 below and he was still comfortably warm. But if the temperature is above 35 he does get a little bit warmer. But these are definitely worth it!!!!!

I live in AZ so I dont have much for winter clothes. We were going to northeast MI for a video shoot. Spent 9 to 10 hours outside in the snow where it was 17 degrees. - It was a period shoot so we were wearing essentially dress pants with a shirt, vest and dress coat. - had the thermal underwear set on underneath and my body stayed warm the whole time. My feet are another story.

These are nice and warm which is what they need to be. I'm about 6' and about 190lbs to start off. I ordered a large and the top fits perfectly. The bottoms though would fit someone who is about a foot taller than me, either that or I should wear them up past my nipples. This isn't my first pair of thermal underwear so I'm pretty sure they are just very long. They will still work but they won't be my base layer like I had intended. The top though, fantastic.

I bought these for a ski trip, and planned on using them for fishing and hunting as well. The material is not really as heat retaining as other thermals are, so I was a bit disappointed in them at first. The bigger problem however, is that they are very, very long. I’m 5’10” and weigh about 185, and I ordered a large. I’m thinking I should have ordered a medium though, because these things could comfortably fit someone who is 6’6”. If I put the leg cuffs on my ankles, I can lift the waist band up above my nipples at full length. I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal but now when I wear them I have a ridiculous amount of excess material in my crotch, which ends up causing chafing. Overall, they’re fine for a base layer in moderate temps if you’re tall or you order the right size.

Well, If I could have selected "too small" and "too large", I would. So I'm 5'4 170lbs, so I got a Medium. The shirt is a bit tight, however that's not too bad because I plan on wearing it under clothing anyways. However, the bottoms are long and also baggy. The bottoms being baggy kind of defeats how well they work to keep you warm. This being said, they do work really well to keep you warm! I rode home on my motorcycle with the set on under one pair of Jean's and one riding jacket in 23° Cali weather and I wasnt frozen! So needless to say they really keep you warm but the sizing is off. I contacted customer service to see if I could exchange the Medium bottoms for a Small bottom and they said NO unfortunately I would have to return the entire set. Maybe they will change there mind and I will update this review to 5 stars like I would like to leave.
