Q: Is this the corky foam type tape? Or more like the plasticy glossy tape?

Corky like tape a bit of stretch and good feel for the money. I would buy it again.

Q: Will it leave behind an adhesive residue if removed?

I haven't removed mine but I don't think it would. When putting it on the adhesive didn't seam that strong. Wrapping it tight with just a little bit of adhesive is what keeps it in place.

Install as any other handle bar tape.

Q: What are the two black strips for?

The black strips are for taping the end when you finish. Most people use electrical tape but if you want, you can use these strips instead.

Grippy, inexpensive, easy to install

I replaced Lizardskins with this bar tape and couldn't be happier. It's easier to install, lasts longer, and doesn't feel like cheap plastic in my hands.

Proper length and easy to install.

Finally had to replace my stock grips on my road bike. Bought these because of the reviews, and I must say they are true to their word. The grips are easy to install, come in a pack of two for both bars on the bike, and the length is correct. They are comfortable and look great. Will definitely buy again once time is due.

Nice color though a bit brighter/lighter than expected

Nice tape, matte finish so it might get dirty fast. Color was a bit lighter than expected but still really nice. Easy to install with online tutorials and such.
