These are really nice and a good replacement for lava rock. I am using them in an outdoor fire table. Stones are smaller than I anticipated - a little bit bigger than a nickel.

Really looks good in my fireplace. I need to move the gas pipe a bit forward so the flame can be seen a bit better.

This is a high quality product and the color and shape is exactly as shown in the photo. I bought 60 pounds of the glass for our firepit and there were only a dozen broken pieces in total. The beads measure approximately 1/2" by 1/4", are flat on one side and rounded on the other, and look great in our firepit. In addition, at $30/pound with shipping included they are very competitively priced. I would highly recommend this product. Wish the photo was better but it should give you an idea of how they look.

The blended glass beads as simply magnificent....The Blended Beach Vibe color simply glows when the cover comes off the fire pit table and exposes this wonderful glass.......the color is reminiscent of the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas......this product would have been easily worthy of a five star review except for the fact that delivery was extremely slow.......

I normally don't write too many reviews; but I rely on reviews from other people to make my choices on various products. My wife and I were looking for fire glass beads to replace the standard lava rocks and black glass that came with our Northwoods TableFire Gas Firebowl. There were several options, but we chose the Tiger Eye blend, which consists of several multi-colored half-inch beads. The ten pound bag was more than enough to cover the entire area of our small fire pit. In a nutshell, we love the look and "feel" of the product. In addition to the beauty that the glass beads provide when the gas fire is not lit, the wonderful, rich color of the reflections when the fire is going is a wonder to experience. We did not need to use lava rocks as a foundation for our beads, and found that the heat dissipation was even better without using the lava. I highly recommend this product!

These are really nice-sized, beautifully colored, quality pieces of tempered glass. We bought them to put in our propane fire pit outside. They always draw compliments from people who see them. They really "move" and "dance" when we turn on the flames and the sun goes down. I highly recommend these specific fire beads. (Funny story: During Thanksgiving, our family decided to play Mexican Bingo. We didn't have any markers to put on our Bingo cards. So, we grabbed a handful of these glass fire beads out of the fire put, rinsed them under the faucet, dried them off, and used them for markers during our Bingo game!! They work perfectly for that, too!! LOL!!)

Put in enough Fire Glass in to cover the burner and to fill the entire fire pit pan. It will heat up better and maintain the proper temperature to keep sufficient heat radiating from it. I used Amazon because the glass that came with my unit was blue (22 pounds) and everything on our patio including our new fire pit, dining table and chairs are more of an earth tone color. I initially ordered 20 pounds and found out that I needed another 10 pound bag to fill the fire pit to a more desirable level. I did not have to use it all so I'll have extra.

I bought these to replace lava rock that came with my fire pit. They look so much better.
