Global GSF-22-4 1/2 inch, 11cm Utility Knife

This is a great knife. Takes and holds and edge very well. Great tool for the price. I have purchased several as gifts for family members. Can't say enough good things about this knife. Recommended without qualification.

This item (utility knife) actually was for a friend... a fellow foodie.Once youve used any Global knife - you feel as though all other knives in comparison fail at their job. I'm the owner of 4 Globals thus far - I will purchase more in the next year, but this paring knife is a great starter to begin with... even if its the only Global you get - you'll see how versitile it is & will go on to recommend to friends and family.

Stays sharp

this is the more utility knife you can get. i have a 7 pieces set and this is my favorite.

This replaced my Henckel 4 inch paring knife, which could never stay sharp. So for the Global works a treat. I'll probably need to get a stone to keep it as sharp as it was when it arrived, but a standard steel keeps it easily sharp enough to use. I don't know why I ever hesitated to buy one.

Nice balance, very sharp and feel good in the hand.

I have owned and used my set of Global Knives for 5+ years now and have enjoyed using them.One of the good things about Global knives is that they keep an edge much longer than do other knives. This is achieved by using a very hard steel alloy.The down side of this is that hard steel is very brittle and care must be taken not to subject the blade to twisting forces or impact/shock.My wife dropped my utility knife from waist height onto the kitchen floor and the blade broke in half.This is not covered by the global warranty.

I really like this knife. It’s a bit larger and heavier than the pairing knife.I love all my Global knives.

Mon fils m'a offert des couteaux Global et j'en ai été tellement satisfait que j'en ai commandé d'autres.Celui-ci complète la gamme. C'est vraiment incroyable de voir comment on peut couper aussi facilement du jambon un peu dur, du saucisson ancien ou débiter des légumes finement.C'est cher, très cher, mais je recommande !J'ai acheté ici les pierres à aiguiser et je suis très satisfait des résultats.

This is my third Global knife, and I love the brand. The knives are well-made, well-balanced and so sharp you can do any chopping, slicing or cutting job with them plus a whole lot of accidental damage to your fingers, so go careful. This one fits nicely into my hand and it's a good size for most jobs but if you were looking to chop up herbs or similar, then you'd probably need something with a larger blade, like the G-2. I never put mine in the dishwasher and I keep them on a magnetic knife rack - they need to be looked after properly as they are not cheap.

Este cuchillo es genial! Corta muy bien - lo usamos mucho para pelar patas y otras verduras. Lo recomiendo! Cuando lo pruebas no quieres volver a usar otros cuchillos.
