Q: To the manufacturer; why do you have to ruin this supplement by adding silicon dioxide?

There is less than 2% SiO2 (Silicon Dioxide) in this formula (1.6% to be exact). SiO2 is an inert substance with no known health affects at this level. It’s necessary so that the powder inside the capsule will flow through the production equipment.

Q: For the manufacturer, I'd like to know why there is L-leucine in this formula - not something I see in other supplements of magtein.

Hello, Thank you for your question. L-Leucine is used as lubricant (to improve encapsulation flow) of the formula. It is used in place of magnesium stearate, making Bricker Labs Magtein the only ‘clean label’ (so far) in its category. For reference: Leucine (Inactive Ingredient) - Drugs.com In the pharmaceutical industry, L-leucine is used for parenteral and enteral nutrition and feeding, and is also used as a flavoring product and tablet lubricant in manufacturing.
