the color of the board is much lighter than in the photo which was disappointing. Have bought many boards on Amazon but this is the first time unsatisfied

Disappointed with the quality of the cutting board. Made sure to keep good care of the board (oil, cream, keeping it dry, etc.) but the cutting board warped then split along the glued pieces.Reached out to John Boos & Co. regarding the problem and was told they would replace the product under warranty. After a month and several emails it seems customer service has disappeared. I still haven't received any information about a replacement... Very disappointed with both the product and customer service.
