Leather Refinish an Aid to Color Restorer 1 Ounce Tester Bottle (Dark Brown)

I had a watch strap I wanted to refinish, and this product plus the sealer worked great. Make sure, when you purchase, to get a variety of color testers so you can get exactly the color you want--the testers are inexpensive and the colors are easy to mix.

Amazing!!! This stuff made my worn out handbag look new. It was so easy to apply. I used a beauty blender and it went on streak free. I ordered other colors to touch up other bags.

I was looking for leather stain to repair damage to a sofa, so initially I was looking at the various kits that contain multiple colors (often 3), which allow the user to blend colors to achieve a good match. Then I saw this product, which depicts a set of three colors without the accessory materials....seemed perfect. Except it wasn't. Rather than 3 small testers, the product is only one of the depicted colors, which in my case is pointless, since I needed to blend the colors. It's not worth returning, since the cost to ship would be throwing good money after bad. 1 star for the misleading depiction.

I bought the $20 Double Dark Brown Leather "Kit" a couple of weeks ago. It worked well but I couldn't get the color to match my chair. So I went ahead and ordered what I thought was a "3 piece" set of different colors (as it was pictured on-line) to try and blend the colors to match the chair. Unfortunately what I received was just 1 color. Needless to say now I have to order more product.

Covered over worn seams of my leather couch beautifully. Make sure to use clean soft rag to remove any extra colorant. I finished with a leather conditioner. Has held up great so far. I recommend ordering a color slightly lighter leather color. Blended in beautiful but was a slight bit darker than my couch. FYI.. they only ship one small bottle even though the picture shows three.

I was disappointed when I received this. It looks just like a touch up bottle of automotive paint! But it was here and I was off that day, so.... it went on easily with a clean child’s paint brush I found in a drawer, then I buffed gently with a clean cloth, and the results were wonderful! No hard, painted look, but the yellow stains on my beloved white couch were all but invisible! No more trying to artistically arrange the throw pillows and Afghan to hide them. I love this product! Economical, effective, and easy, fast!

I wanted to write about this color restorer. To me it looks and uses like a color paint that soaks into the leather pretty well. I applied 2 coats of the color after I used nail polish remover on a cotton ball to clean up the leather surface. The outside leather was scuffed, faded and pretty ragged looking. Obviously, I let each application dry before layering the next coat of color. I believe the paint (restorer) works pretty well. I have posted some after shots (forgot to take before shots) and you can see the shoe is pretty worn out from the inside but the color of the leather has full coverage and it did not require any buffing to get the sheen after the restorer dried completely.
