This dispenser sometimes requires two hits to dispense the amount of soap needed. I like this because when I wash my son's hands one hit is all that's needed! I say hit because you seriously have to hit it in order for the soap inside to settle to the bottom. Keep this in mind when you mount it to the wall. I marked and drilled the holes and wouldn't you know...none of them hit a stud. Hopefully the sheetrock will stand up to the hits. Time will tell! The old school dispensers work differently by pushing up a rod. That design seems better becasue it dispenses soap as well as knocking the soap to the bottom. The down side is those suckers cost 3 times the price and not worth it in my opinion.

Something Chinese that comes with no instructions . Surprise !You need an Allen key to open the lidI cannot figure out how to open the lid to mount it on the wall, so I may be returning this as some others mention. I’m no idiot, but I’m also not sitting for an hour to figure this piece of crap out

I've wanted one of these for years.Mounting instructions would be nice. Two screw holes are behind the barrel are unaccessable.Don't worry, I do a little of fabrication and it didn't beat me.

The above description refers to a key but there is no key: it's an allen wrench, 0.115 inch or 2.9 mm (but also not included). There is no paperwork, so I had to return to Amazon to find out how to open it. Some paperwork could explain how it needs to be dismantled for access to the screw holes to secure it to the wall. Mounting screws (also not included) heads need to be flush to allow the lid to open. Otherwise it looks well made and well planned (though incomplete). I give it 4 stars for design and zip for completeness.

I could really use the locking key that s suppose to be there but I didn't get one. Nice product though. Just like the ones in the school restrooms back in the day.

Bought it for home shop use, easy to install but they don’t give instructions so open the lid lightly pry the tab out of the groove on the and slide the rid out, mount the bracket and install the cup back in the bracket sliding the rod back in place aligning the sprig tab with the center grove locking the cup

Bought this to use some powdered soap a friend gave us. Works great. Looks decent hanging on basement utility room wall.

Dispenser conceals the mounting holes and no instructions . Refunded .Too bad this is a very nice dispenser .
