They worked great for what we used them for.

i like these hinges and the fact they have a double latch design - once they are locked, it will be hard for them to accidentally come open.My only complaint is that one of the screws broke as I installed it. I had pre-drilled each hole - so the screw was of very low quality or defective.

Parts were well made and performed to specification ... perfect fit for the application

The hasp/latch looks ok, but the lower holes have to be extremely close to the edge for the hasp to close and this increases the risk of your box lid splitting. I would not buy again.

Was perfect for my project

I have a replica of a colonial-era bookshelf ladder that converts into a chair. I used the miniature clasps to to hold the hinged sections together when used as a ladder. When configured as such, the clasps prevent the bottom from awkwardly swinging about when picked up and moved. The clasps are strong, well made and closely match the finish of the ladder’s hardware.
