Perfect Little Pot
This 4 QT. pot is exactly what I was looking for. So far it has been durable - stainless steel - so it cooks evenly and heats up quick. My only "issue" with it, is I have noticed it wants to stain on the bottom with certain foods, but that's not a huge deal to me. I'm just careful to wash it immediately after use (or soak in hot soapy water). Not bad enough to dock it a star in my review anyway.

Owned this for 2 years. LOVE IT
This is the best all purpose pot to own. The bottom stays flat and does not warp. It is not non-stick but cleans very easily when things get stuck on, by just putting it back on the hot burner with about 1/2 cup of water and scraping it with the spatula again. It cooks extremely well. Good heat distribution. You do need to use oil or butter, but a little seems to go a long way. I put it in the dishwasher regularly. If you only had to own one pot, this would be the one. Good for cooking practically anything. You need a mitt to handle the handles but you can put this in the oven with no problem. BEST pan I have ever owned and at 60+, I have owned a lot. Beats out anodized, cast iron, non-stick of all kinds. Easy to care for and very handy. LOVE IT.

Versatile, well-constructed pan
This is a versatile pan that is perfect for many different types of cooking, and the glass lid makes it easy to monitor the cooking. It's great for making soups and stews, as well as casseroles. But it also works well as a stir-fry pan. I find woks awkward to use - they're just too big in my opinion. This pan has a slightly rounded bottom which makes it just right for stir-fries, even if the sides are straight rather than flared, and the bottom of the pan heats evenly and holds the heat well. I use it on a gas stove, and as long as the flame diameter is smaller than the pan's, the handles stay cool.

Nice pot, beautifully made
This pot only gets four stars because when it arrived brand new, in an undamaged box the rim on the inside had two dents in it. I considered returning it for a replacement, to keep the same item. but the two dents did not affect the seal of the lid. It still sits perfectly so I didn't bother. Love this pot, it's handsome and fits in well with my other appliances. I use it when I'm making a batch of soup, stew or spaghetti sauce. It's the perfect size for serving 4 to six people. If this is the size you are looking for, you will love this pot!

Perfect size pot
Love that this isn’t super deep and gets water boiling quickly as well as it being dishwasher safe. I loved the one-cup version with spouts, so I bought this one. I used it today to braise chicken then added tikka masala sauce and it didn’t disappoint—BONUS—dishwasher safe!!

Great smaller pot; heats fast
I wanted a pot for small portions of pasta and didn’t want to wait a long time for a boil. Wider pots with more water surface boil faster. This pot is perfect. Love it.

Can't be true KitchenAid!
I have purchased KitchenAid pots/pans for years and i have loved each purchase that lasted for years. This is a very pretty 4qt pot and I was excited to use it...however... after the very first use to make a pot of spaghetti, it has chips in the bottom. I only use silicone utensils and it did not require any scrubbing to clean it. I am very sad to say that I will have to return it because if it's chipping after one use with only spaghetti and sauce, who knows how far and quickly this pot will fail. I am extremely disappointed. So, buyer beware. It is a nice "looking" pot and it was easy to clean, so the 1 star is deserving for that. I wanted to resolve the issue rather than returning it but KitchenAid customer service for their cookware is nonexistent. The telephone number Amazon has is for their appliances and countertop small appliances; they gave a different number that, in the middle of the day, says they're closed and to call back during normal business hours and the website given in the recording goes nowhere. So I'm returning for a refund.
