Great clean make-up brand
Made the switch to non-toxic/natural beauty products this year. Love the Jane Iredale brand.I bought several products. While a little expensive, they are good quality and feel great on my mature skin.

The Best!
Let's 'talk' about this foundation! I think it's really excellent! I don't wear a lot of makeup, but nearly everything that I do use comes from Jane Iredale.I'm 67 years old now. Previously, I used (and often recommended) another well known loose mineral foundation for many, many years. But, as time went on, I began to notice that it was not working well. It no longer looked good on my more mature skin. So, I did a lot of research (and read a lot of reviews). I discovered Jane Iredale products, and I'm never going back! I think this loose mineral foundation is quite incredible! I use the Warm Silk shade in the winter months and Amber during summer months. It's so natural looking (but better!) It's quite apparent that my sensitive combination skin loves this product, and I've gotten compliments on my skin since I switched. I always apply it after moisturizing, and then I do a light spritz of Jane Iredale nourishing hydration spray. After facing several health challenges, I've become very careful about what products I bring into my home and what products my family and I use. I am always looking for natural, healthy, safe ingredients. And this is definitely one of them. I hope my experience is helpful for someone else.

Finally a powder foundation light enough for my skin!
I just turned 41, and have finally conceded that liquid foundation no longer works for my mature skin. So, powder it is. Only issue is, all powder base is too dark, and too orange. Even the lightest Bare Minerals shade makes me look like an oompa loompa. I heard about this product on a review site, and decided to take a chance. And I LOVE IT.Case in point: This photo is unfiltered and unretouched. Yeah I know they all say that, but seriously take a look, zoom in if you want, you can clearly see my skin texture and fine lines. None of it has been artificially blurred, it's 100% the makeup doing this. This stuff makes my skin look like it did when I was 20.It melts into my skin, it looks great, the only drawback is you won't get FULL-full coverage like you can with a good concealer, but that's true of all powder foundations, not just this one. If you have mature skin, this is the one for you. If you have oily skin and want to switch to powder, this is for you. And if you're practically albino with cool undertones like I am, this is for you.

Awesome brush applicator!
I purchased 2 of these, one in line with my own "match", but slightly lighter and another much darker (on the way) in a neutral shade that I can use for adjusting a lighter powder. Both were on sale and hard to pass up. Jane Iredale has been one of my favorite "go to" mineral foundations. I tend to get my best match blending cools and neutrals in this line. Personally, I prefer Jane Iredale loose mineral foundations over their pressed or liquid...when I want a liquid base, I make my own liquid or tint concoctions with the loose and my favorite moisturizer...I find it much cleaner. I have no problem mixing to get my match. So, when I noticed these brush applicators, I had to have! I absolutely love how the brush "head" is magnetic!!!! This makes it so easy to clean the brush frequently and efficiently. Having 2 of these makes it even easier...I can just switch the brush heads, and then clean the dirty...no problem, no inconvenience. The foundation "pots" are awesome and work perfectly to fill the brush. I am not putting these "as is" in the applicator brush. I dump the contents in a clean clear container and label the color. I put my own personal blend to match my skin tone into the "pot" and with only how much I will use up within a few days. The brush applicator, I give 5 stars. This is the best of many I have tried. My only issue with Jane Iredale is they tend to put dimethicone in everything, and I wish they'd switch to ultramarines over chromium oxide greens. Sometimes, I will mix Jane Iredale foundation with another brand like Aromaleigh Pashmina or Gossamer formulas or with Mineral Essence to lower the levels of lesser loved ingredients. I still love how Jane Iredale foundation feels, regardless. I just stay away from Jane Iredale color cosmetics (lip, cheek, eye shadows), because of lake dyes and other ingredients I don't agree with. I do use the powder foundation (2nd favorite) and I like the eyelash conditioner, eyeliner and some of their mascaras. So, 3 stars for the foundation for above reasons.I do highly recommend this brush applicator, even if not a Jane Iredale fan...just snatch one up when its on sale (like $17-30).

Love this product
I've always been a cream or liquid foundation gal. Have used everything from drugstore to high end. Always thought, because I'd read, not to use powder on a mature face, but happy to say this powder is awesome! It lays so well on the skin for a natural finish. Build able in areas that need a little more attention. I apply with a flat brush in downward strokes, per the video and it blends so nicely. It doesn't dry out my skin or settle into lines. I am 64 use retin a at night and Paula's choice exfoliation bha/aha in the morning, so my face is on the drier side, but I use a good Moisturizer under the product and perfectly happy with result.
