Q: Does this leave hair soft and easy to run your hands through or gritty/grainy feeling?

Depends on how much you spray. In either case it will leave your hair soft and natural looking however if you spray a bit more which I usually do you will have your hands getting stuck as you run into your hair because it does have a liquid dry clay in the mix
