I love this magnifying dome. It helps me to read documents that are in small print. I use it on the computer and reading documents. I have cataracts and it enlarges the font so that I can see it kinda clearly.

I work for a construction company, and sometimes reading measurements on blueprints can be tricky. This tool has been incredibly helpful—the magnification is excellent! Just a heads-up: it does scratch easily, so it's best to handle it with care. I accidentally scratched mine with my wedding ring while holding it.

It's acrylic (plastic) not glass, if it was made of glass the clarity would be much better, but also heavier and cost more. Overall, good item for the price.

I bought this because I have the beginnings of macular degeneration and want to have what I need as soon as I need it, I love that it has a little pouch that protects it while being stored. It’s lightweight, easy to use and works well!
