Rosemary stumps fear this
Disclaimer: I know nothing about rope. However, this really was oddly impressive. We were trying to pull out 4 rosemary bushes today after I'd already cut off the bushy part (can it even be called that when they're mostly dead and just barely covered with the tiniest layer ever of green?). I was down to the center death beast and was able to rock them, but no matter what we did the things just wouldn't give up the ghost. My 12 yr old had this rope- something he'd bought with Christmas money (he's always creating things). He suggested wrapping the rosemary beast with his rope and essentially pull out with our truck's tow ball thing.I laughed. The dudes of the house had lightbulbs over their heads. They wrapped the tow thing and the dead beast bush with a single rope line. I was waiting for disaster so I could laugh and go back to a trusty shovel. It worked. It was actually pretty cool. That same line of rope pulled out 2 souls of rosemary before it snapped on the 3rd one. That was repeated again on the last 2. Then they spotted an old tree stump that had been in our yard since before we moved in 5 years ago.I laughed again. But it worked...So yeah, we were all pretty impressed by the strength of this rope. Don't worry- I'm buying my boy another one since he sacrificed his. I'm not a monster.

Use for dog line
My corgi loves to run so I tied this rope from the porch to a tree in the yard and he runs it all day everyday. Rope lasted a little over a year before it started shedding and he’d get caught out in the yard. Bought a new one tho. Great rope for the price!

It has a tendency to stretch...
The cord is strong enough but, it has a tendency to stretch.

Very strong rope!
I was comparing 3 rope types from 3 different sellers.1/4" white solid nylon rope - $11.691/4" blue soft nylon rope - $6.693/16" black Dacron polyester rope - $16.45(I'll refer to them by their color)StretchinessWhite & black - not stretchyBlue - more stretchyStrengthWhite & black - very strongBlue - feels less strongSmoothnessBlue - the smoothestWhite - medium smoothnessBlack - CoarseCostBlack $$$White $$Blue $Part of the stretchiness of blue is the braid feels loose, so you can compress it and bend it at sharp angles with little resistance. The white and black both have tight braids and don't compress much when you squeeze them.If you're wanting something to bear a heavy load I'd get white or black.Where the black beats out the white is with long-term durability and uv resistance

Thick, sturdy rope
Purchased this for our recent move. It’s a thick, bright blue, sturdy rope that worked well with our POD. We used it to secure the contents in the POD from shifting around and the rope held everything in place. This was cheaper priced than our local big box retailer and it could have many other uses around the house other than just for moving.

Fray when cut.
Holds the shade cloth well even on very windy days. My complaint is that the ends fray badly and unravel when you cut.
