Lidl Preferred Selection German Gold Ground Coffee, 17.6 oz.

This is on sale at Lidl this week for only $3 ($2.30 off) so I thought I would give it a try, although I really prefer Hazelnut flavored coffee. I was pleasantly surprised! The smell is really wonderful and it has a very distinctive and strong coffee flavor even though it's a "Mild" roast. I like to ground my coffee finer than it comes in the package and that strengthens the flavor by the way. You can't beat the price for such a high-quality coffee! (It's possible to add your own flavoring as well.)

We received this coffee as a gift and we don’t live near a lidel store. We were so happy that Amazon sells it. This coffee doesn’t have the bitter taste of most coffees. It is very smooth and I plan on ordering more!

Take it with a grain of salt, I like strong coffee. But this way too weak for a medium roast

We drink mild brews and we like sampling different coffees. The Lidl Preferred Selection German Gold Ground Coffee was extremely mild. It tasted like weak coffee instead of mild coffee. Like a watered-down Americano. We mixed it with the Gevalia Mild, as we did not want to throw it away. This is for a coffee drinker who is looking for a weak brew.

This coffee is so bad its tough to know where to start! Bitter after taste that no amount of sugar can fix! You need to brush your teeth with hydrogen peroxide to get the taste out of your mouth! THIS IS HORRIBLE!
