I knew that. Just seeing if YOU knew.Not so much: If you don't clean out the instrument before you put it on the rack, there WILL be "moisture" on the cone shaped part. But that could be anyone's slobber, right?Looks kind weird when there isn't a clarinet on it. "What is that black thing on your wall?"

The clarinet holder is simple, with an engineer's sensibility. Strong, with no superfluous parts.The installation instructions are minimal, but the holding peg is removable, so mounting the screws through the center of the rear plate is easy. The plastic cover pops off the hex head bolt; hold the plastic peg with your hand and turn the bolt with a wrench (or the other way), mount the bracket, then replace the peg. We have the flute version as well. It also has a removable holder peg so mounting the bracket is always easy.The ring and bell arrangement worked perfectly with our standard Yamaha Bb clarinet. The adjustments took less than a minute. The instrument drops onto the holder easily, but the connection feels secure, the clarinet doesn't flop about.The brackets on these holders are so strong, I can hang a fairly heavy (extra-tall) portable music stand in its bag from the bracket and it has no effect on the angle of the bracket and thus the position of the instrument stays steady. Nice!

You know when you're practicing and you have to answer the door, or you need to give your chops a break after a particularly grueling passage? This is what you need.The stand easily supports your instrument and keeps it accessible. It's safer than leaving it on a chair, a counter, or bed; on this stand your clarinet is out of the way and ready for you as soon as you pick it back up. It installs with two screws. The hardware, along with some drywall anchors are included. It's an easy job that anybody who knows how to use a drill and screwdriver can handle.5-stars. It's great.

Bought it, hung it and it works as it said it would. Highly recommend.

My clarinet leans a little and is wobbly.. but it’s not going anywhere..

I bought this to hold my piccolo trumpet on the wall. I did test it out with my clarinet and it would be perfect for that, too.To get it to work with my picc I needed to pull off the tan ring (which is adjustable up and down to accommodate different bore designs for clarinets) but once I did that, it works very nicely for the picc.
