12ft 3.5mm Stereo Male to 2 RCA Male Splitter Cable

My wife and I use this cable to connect our smart phones to our home receiver and listen to Pandora or Slacker. The cable is nice and long to allow freedom of movement with the phone and the RCA jacks are the best sound transfer short of optical or HDMI. After limited use over the past few months, I've noticed the chrome plating on the 3.5mm jack is flaking off causing the connection to my cell phone's jack to be intermitent. If the phone gets bumped, the connection is lost to one or both speakers of my home stereo, or a lot of static is transmitted through the speakers, neither scenario being any good. The price may be good for this cord, but like most electronics, you get what you pay for. I spent $8 for a much better build quality cord and have had no issues with it. I recommend you do the same.

This product is a standard Y cable. I would NOT use it for serious sound systems like for a DJ's setup. It's ideal for connecting a 3.5mm headphone jack (Ipod, mp3 player, cd player or a computer) to a sound system/TV with RCA connections (red and white). It connects fine, it's construction is solid, and it's length (12 ft.) is more than enough for your entertainment needs. I would suggest it for anyone who wants to host a party in his or her home. You don't have to buy an Ipod stand to connect your MP3 player to your speakers. You could play music for a party easily using this product. I personally use it with my VGA to RCA cable to connect my laptop to my TV so I can watch movies through my TV with my TV's nice speakers.

Does exactly what i needed it to do. Good quality, strong 3.5mm to RCA L/R audio. Was setting up a MP3 system to use with my Satellite speakers matrix unit. Works well without compromising sound quality.

Basic cable here, nothing special. The only complaint that I would have is that the 3.5mm connection does not connect to my phone with the case on, the plastic part is too wide. But that is not the fault of the cable. 5 stars because the price is right and it works with no issues.**update - its been a year of use and I am knocking off a star because the connection while still appears to be in tact only has a sweet spot where it will actually work. 90% of the time it will not work and you have to wiggle and bend the connection at the 3.5mm end to find a spot where it will work. FWIW I have been using this on a daily basis and plug and unplug it multiple times so for the price and a years worth of abuse I would still recommend it. But now I am looking to purchase a replacement.

This is the thing I had been looking for. I have a cable to connect my laptop to my TV and it has a short pigtail for audio. It will not reach the other side of my PC and plug is not the correct size to fit the TV.This cable works perfectly. A single plug to fit the PC and a red and a white plugs to fit the TV. Just like the picture.I saw one review that mentioned it is very cheaply made. I almost agree. It is not a Monster cable and not intended for commercial use or to be thrown into a tool box. However for home use with minimum care I expect it to last me a long time.A very good buy for a very good price. Will use this seller again and would recommend them to my friends.

I had bought similar wires for almost the same price from elsewhere. Those lasted me around 6 months after the wires came apart at the stereo connector.These ones are much more sturdier and quality is way better than those other ones. I use this to connect my cell phone to my car audio to play mp3s, and the sound quality is good.Of course these don't compare to the high end cables, but for what they are selling for, they get the work done reasonably well.I have been using these one for around a month now, I would buy these again.

This served my purposes very nicely, and all for under $4.00, including shipping. Great deal.I had originally purchased a Vizio soundbar to use with my HDTV that doubles as my PC monitor. Unfortunately I hadn't realized at the time that the tv, despite its many inputs on the back and side, had nothing to output the sound to the speakers. So for the longest time this $100 soundbar has been mounted useless on the wall behind my screen. One day my computer speakers decided to start giving cracks and pops in the sound which make me reluctantly look for a new set of speakers. Then it dawn on me, what if I could use the soundbar as my computer speakers?For whatever reason it never occurred to me before that the soundbar that I associated with television use could be made to work with my PC. A quick amazon search and I found this handy cable. It worked out exactly like I hoped and I now can play all my music, games and videos through the soundbar speakers with great quality. I couldn't be more pleased, I only wish I had thought to look for this cable sooner.They serve a very simple purpose but they do it well. The sound quality they produce is very pleasant as well, no static or anything. Plus they're plenty long enough to reach my setup.

This is a pretty good and useful wire, but it could be better quality. I hooked it up to an amplifier for my old Bose speakers to a TV, and it worked pretty good- except when a loose connection on the red part caused the speakers to go like - EEEEEEEEE - you know, that really annoying sound. But with the slightest movement, the wire would work. So I got an eraser and propped the wire up, and it works like a charm! So overall, a good and cheap product, but with the sacrifice of quality.
