Fantastic deal
This served my purposes very nicely, and all for under $4.00, including shipping. Great deal.I had originally purchased a Vizio soundbar to use with my HDTV that doubles as my PC monitor. Unfortunately I hadn't realized at the time that the tv, despite its many inputs on the back and side, had nothing to output the sound to the speakers. So for the longest time this $100 soundbar has been mounted useless on the wall behind my screen. One day my computer speakers decided to start giving cracks and pops in the sound which make me reluctantly look for a new set of speakers. Then it dawn on me, what if I could use the soundbar as my computer speakers? For whatever reason it never occurred to me before that the soundbar that I associated with television use could be made to work with my PC. A quick amazon search and I found this handy cable. It worked out exactly like I hoped and I now can play all my music, games and videos through the soundbar speakers with great quality. I couldn't be more pleased, I only wish I had thought to look for this cable sooner. They serve a very simple purpose but they do it well. The sound quality they produce is very pleasant as well, no static or anything. Plus they're plenty long enough to reach my setup.

Some problems, but workable.
I use this cord to connect a laptop to a Bose Wave Radio for sampling music on YouTube. The length of the cord was the critical selling point for me. It works, but often requires some massaging to keep it working. As you would expect from the price, it's cheaply made. It uses lamp cord instead of coaxial cable as conductors so if the connection on the headphone jack end isn't just right it can generate a substantial hum through the speakers. The headphone jack itself is very chintzy and usually requires a few seconds of effort to get a solid connection in the laptop's headphone jack. But when you find that happy spot, it works just fine and offers a noise-free signal. After a while, I was forced to use a rubber band to hold the headphone jack in it's happy place, which was okay because it was still easy to do. Eventually the headphone jack broke. But I probably got close to a year of use out of it by babying it and treating it gently, plugging and unplugging it a couple of times a day. Since I had anticipated this and bought several of the cords--they are cheap, after all--I simply grabbed a fresh one and kept on trucking. Will I buy them again? No. I'll happily pay more next time and hope I get a cord that doesn't require any fiddling. But is there any guarantee of that? Again, no.

A Long Audio Splitter Cable with a Great Price
I had a roommate in college that brought a speaker system and played music from his MP3 player and computer. So, I set out to do the same thing with a sound system I have that didn't have a built in line-in input, and this splitter cable worked well in that regard.First off, the 12 feet length is awesome for easily putting devices well beyond the reach of the system. The cables have a good quality to them and do fit in the back of my system to reach out towards the front. The music I play through it from my laptop and other devices sounds great by taking advantage of the better quality speakers on the sound system.Buy this splitter cable for the long length along with good cable quality. Getting quality deals is what I look out for, and this one does it right if you have an AV receiver with no line-in input or if you want to play sound to a TV. Like the audiophiles say, cable quality does not affect sound quality, so grab the cheapest cables you can at the best deal.

Works as deccribed, price was right
Basic cable here, nothing special. The only complaint that I would have is that the 3.5mm connection does not connect to my phone with the case on, the plastic part is too wide. But that is not the fault of the cable. 5 stars because the price is right and it works with no issues.**update - its been a year of use and I am knocking off a star because the connection while still appears to be in tact only has a sweet spot where it will actually work. 90% of the time it will not work and you have to wiggle and bend the connection at the 3.5mm end to find a spot where it will work. FWIW I have been using this on a daily basis and plug and unplug it multiple times so for the price and a years worth of abuse I would still recommend it. But now I am looking to purchase a replacement.

Decent Quality, but Excellent for the price
Basically it is what the description states. A 12 Foot RCA to 3.5mm stereo cable. I have purchased several of this type of cable over the years for transmitting audio from laptops and MP3 players to a stereo.I have payed over 10 dollars previously, I decide to give this cheaper product a try and I must admit I was expecting them to fall apart without actually touching them. The cable quality is on par with cables I've purchased from B&Ms. I'm not sure what gauge the wire is but its got a decent feel to it. The strain relief is pliable but stiff enough and protects the connections just fine. Connections appear to be well made and have held up to the strain of transporting while traveling and connecting and disconnecting several times a day.Audio transmission works fine for my needs. I transmit music from my android phone to a stereo for use while working.Bottom line for the price I don't think you can beat this cable for basic needs!

Works perfect
My wife and I use this cable to connect our smart phones to our home receiver and listen to Pandora or Slacker. The cable is nice and long to allow freedom of movement with the phone and the RCA jacks are the best sound transfer short of optical or HDMI. Excellent cable for the money.Follow up review 11/4/2013My 5 star rating will have to be lowered. After limited use over the past few months, I've noticed the chrome plating on the 3.5mm jack is flaking off causing the connection to my cell phone's jack to be intermitent. If the phone gets bumped, the connection is lost to one or both speakers of my home stereo, or a lot of static is transmitted through the speakers, neither scenario being any good. The price may be good for this cord, but like most electronics, you get what you pay for. I spent $8 for a much better build quality cord and have had no issues with it. I recommend you do the same.
