Sweet Little Tool!
I recently bought a Hitachi 1/2" cordless Impact Driver and immediately fell in love with it. Soon, I wanted to be able to use all of the 1/4" Hex ended stuff in my toolbox such as smaller sockets, screwdriver bits, and drill bits with it. A quick search on Amazon for 1/2" to 1/4" hex quick change adapter yields numerous hits from well known makers in the $15 to $20 range. This Neiko adapter, a brand I am unfamiliar with cost only $6.80.Because of the price being so reduced, I was initially skeptical, but as it happened to fulfill my order over the minimum for free shipping, I decided to give it a try. Boy, I'm glad I did. This tool is superbly made and works like a champ. It would be worth it at twice the price.Unlike competing adapters, and one of the other reasons I was so skeptical was the relatively tiny size in comparison to the others. This is not a problem, and is, in fact, a real plus when adding anything to the end of a drill---less wobble. Just pull back on the adapter which is spring loaded and insert the tool of your choice...if they have the "indents", the adapter clamps down on the inserted tool and doesn't let go. Suddenly, my high-torque 1/2-incher serves double-purpose, now working with all of my 1/4" stuff. Nice!Oh, and the blue color works for me, also.

Awesome
Better quality and shorter length than the last one I bought on here, the bits fall out of it. We’ll see how long this one lasts

Good enough
You're not buying Snap-on. They're not Chrome. They're not polished. But they do what they're supposed to do...if you break or lose one, who cares because they're not expensive.

Works Well without Exception
I purchased this product in November of 2019. I’ve had it now for 4 years and it’s worked exceptionally well. I have used it on various projects and I just love this product. I have read many reviews were people have had problems where the product no longer holds the bits or continuously falls out. I read the solution from various reviewers about this problem and there solution. The product is not perfect but definitely worth the price. My bits began to fall out as well and I followed the advice from previous reviewers and fixed the problem. Thanks guys for your help. You simply need to remove the retaining spring, remove the blue retainer which reveals a spring. The spring needs to be turned around and put back in place. You will see this once the blue retainer is removed. Put the blue retainer back on and the retainer clip. Works like new! I hope this helps someone else who has this problem with the product. Enjoy the product!L. Harris 4/2023

Holding up just fine!
I looked at a lot of products and bought with trepidation after seeing so many reviews and pix of ratchet tools breaking, but these have worked fine so far. I use my 3/8" extenders and sockets as much as I can for tougher jobs (high torques), but that doesn't mean these won't hold up -- I just use the thicker ones whenever I can.
