CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ Study Guide: Exam CLO-002 2nd Edition, Kindle Edition
If you're buying video courses or practice tests, then you're doing something wrong. Reading the book is enough to pass the test (I didn't bother using flashcards or the extra resources).Spend your time and money on Azure and AWS certifications. I was bored and wanted to add another certification to my collection.

I Just Passed My CLO-002! This Book Helped! How I Did It...
I just passed my CLO-002 certification, and this book definitely helped! This was my path in passing:I first used the McGraw Hill book, and then I purchased the official CompTIA CertMaster Practice online test from CompTIA's official site. After taking the CertMaster Practice test, I found that the difficulty of the official CertMaster Practice test questions was way harder than the straight forward questions from the McGraw Hill book. If you are completely new to cloud, then I would recommend starting with the McGraw Hill book first.I then decided I needed a better book to give me more information, so I decided to get this book. Even though the number of pages in this Sybex book and the McGraw Hill book were about the same, the print in the Sybex was smaller, so they were able to get more information packed into the same amount of pages. If you are older like myself, you will likely need reading glasses to see the print.I think where this book really excels is with the online content! After I finished reading the book and answered all of the questions inside the book, I created my online account and started using the flashcards. They say this test is more of a definitions test, which I suppose is sort of true. There were 157 different flashcards, which they would give the definition and you would need to think which word matches before clicking on and flipping the card to see the correct answer. This will definitely help you learn the words associated with the Cloud Essentials+ exam, as well as know the definitions and the differences between words that almost seem like they mean the same, but you need to know what the difference is between them when used in the context of the cloud. The other useful thing online was the practice test. There were quite a few questions (245), and with pretty decent explanations for the most part. There were some easy questions, but there were plenty of more difficult and 'tricky' questions that make you realize that you might need to research some of the keywords in the question a little more. One of the things that I needed to research more for myself was DevOps and CI/CD. I felt like you need to know a little bit more about CI/CD that what they just skim over in the books. I used 'IBM Cloud' Youtube videos to help me understand some of the cloud concepts a little bit better.I'd say the more access to training materials you have (practice tests, training videos, etc.) the better off you will be.The online practice test from this book should give you a feel for how hard some of the questions could get, so you at least get a feel for how difficult the test could be for you!I also used the CompTIA CertMaster Learn program which also has flashcards (I liked Sybex's flashcards better actually!), practice test questions, and even some flashcard games. CertMaster Learn was a little expensive, but since it is an official CompTIA training program, I figured it would give me a better feel for the difficulty of the actual test questions. CertMaster Learn & Practice can be found on CompTIA's store.Hopefully this book along with a few supplements will help you pass the test! Good Luck!
