Q: Does this adapter work with Blu-ray drives?

Q: can i use this to use a vista os on my laptop if i change the boot device in the bios?

If your PC's OS is malfunctioning, it might default to an external connection, which this device would supply. If it doesn't, or if the native OS is fine, it would probably be necessary to access the BIOS to change the boot order (see your manual or check the website of the manufacturer to see how to do this; there are a number of different ways that work for different manufacturers). The BIOS itself can be problematic. I have an Asus, for example, where you can't just tell it to boot from the "USB drive," but you have to tell it which device to access (Transcend drive, SanDisk drive, etc.), so I suggest that you connect the device before going into the BIOS.

Q: Will this work on older ata 2.5 inch laptop hard drive? drive is a fujitsu mht2030at made in 2003

I think it should as there is an ATA interface. It should work with most of the ATA drives. Your laptop drive should work fine; the larger desktop one will require extra power.

Q: Is there a website address to download the drivers?

There may be but Windows 10 downloaded or had the drivers necessary to drive the unit. You can also operate it as a stand alone unit for cloning purposes (no drivers needed). If you are running Windows 7 or earlier, then make sure you download and install the latest Windows Service Patches and the USB 3.0 drivers for your computer's hardware. Make sure the device is connected to a USB 3.0 port and you have a USB 3.0 cable. The unit and your PC can only communicate as fast as the weakest link. Lastly, many wireless mice and keyboards and WiFi networks communicate around the same frequency as the USB 3.0 frequency (2.4Ghz) and the two can interfere with proper operation. Make sure any USB 2.0 micro receivers are located on the other side of the computer from the USB 3.0 ports or extend their distance via a USB extension. I personally use an Anker USB 3.0 hub which works well as I have many USB devices. For my wife's fairly small laptop, I actually had to use a foot long USB 2.0 extension to put the micro receivers on to prevent interference with the USB 3.0 operation.Hope this helps get you up and running.
