I have been using this product for years and absolutely love it! I just put two or three tbsp. of butter spread in it after It's cooked, and it makes a wonderful side dish. It has a flavor similar to wheat cous cous, but the consistency is a little more chewy if you get a coarse grain. I like the #3 coarse grain the best, but also like the #2. You can add spices to liven it up if you want a more spicey flavor. Highly recommend this product.

I made fabulous tabouli with this bulgar. I didn’t prepare the bulgur according to directions. I got them to a boil but then turned off the heat and just covered and let stand for a half hour. This bulgar seemed very small grain to mrpe, though.

Quality item!

This is #1 fine bulgar. I am more use to the heavier grain for tabouli. It does cook easily. I use double the water to grain. Boil the water, pour in the bulgar and let it sit. The taste is typical meaning salt, spices, olive oil and lemon. The texture is very different from the heavier grain but actually makes the eating better. I have only made tabouli, but am pleased with it. Perhaps more later when I make Kibbeh.

This is delicious. A wonderful substitute for rice. I’m surprised more people don’t use bulgur. I can’t find coarse #3 in my local stores.

The last one I got had weevils and I already added them to the leftover I had. Now it’s all filled with weevils. Also, these past few ones are not as fresh as the previous ones- it comes with a smell and has a different taste
