As we Indians, our mentality is that if product is low priced than it must be low graded or low quality product, it is somehow true but some prove this concept wrong and this product is one of them. I don't know how much they sell or how much is their profitability as we don't see product ad on tv or paper or in open market at least in my region. But this product has capacity to compete against Henko, Tide, Surf. You are getting a Henko detergent, half priced in the name of Ujala detergent and you should also know that Henko brand is also served by Jyothi labs as Ujala is. There is no negative point in this detergent. I am using it in my top load washing machine and it is as good as Tide. Leather is good, no excess use of detergent to make more foam, scent is pleasant, no detergent residue, rinses in water quickly. No after wash detergent felling. I will recommend this detergent to give a try to everyone, you will love it. Now I am going to use this as long as I will find it.

Item got delivered 2 days back and I didn't started using this washing powder yet. Disappointing thing is - inside package ( Ujala logo printed packaging - not the external amazon one ) found with two large size cutting with sharp edges and looks like weight does not seems to be 5 kg....

18-03-2021Just FYI, I would like to say that the packaging was so poor and Amazon should improve thier packaging for such products. Because when I received the product it must have been damaged during the transit, and when I opened it the washing powder spilled everywhere and made a huge mess. The washing powder cover was split right in the middle so I couldn't do anything. Nor did I have any 5kg box laying around to transfer it to. So that was my messy Unboxing experience.Coming to the product. Ujala washing powder is good, but not better than Henko stain care, which is also made by the same company 'Jyothy labs'. Ujala removes the dirt and cleans. But it doesn't remove the stains as good as henko does. But none the less I would say this is not a bad product, it has a pleasant fragrance. Which lingers even after washing, hence I don't have to add comfort liquid for that extra freshness. And it does not make my hands itchy when I use it. And it doesn't leave any white patches in clothes either, like the cheap washing powders do. The price might be cheap but the product isn't. I use Ujala for daily wear clothes since it doesn't attract that much stains. And I use henko for heavily stained clothings like kitchen towels and doormats etc. Thank you.

So much cheaper compared to others and the quality is great...I was looking at matic washing powder for top load washing machine...all others were around Rs 130 per kg...and this was around half that price... and it does the job because UJALA has specified at the back cover that it can be used for machine wash

Chala is an Indian made and a brand known from long time .. to be frank we used to use brands like Ariel , surf excel etc .. but somehow I wanted to try ujala for the first time . And my choice is right .. it's better than other international brands. Quality and price is extraordinary ..
