I’ve been using this 5% Benzoyl Peroxide gel for a little over a week now, and so far, I’m pretty happy with it. It has a smooth texture that absorbs quickly, which I appreciate because it doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy feeling. I like that it’s medical-grade and micronized, which is supposed to help it penetrate better. I’ve noticed it’s starting to reduce some of my more recent breakouts, and it seems to calm down inflammation pretty effectively. However, I haven’t been using it long enough to see how well it works on deeper or more stubborn acne.One thing to keep in mind is that benzoyl peroxide can be drying, and this gel is no exception. I’ve noticed a bit of dryness and flaking in the areas where I apply it, so moisturizing afterward is a must.
