Jane's Playmates: A Tarzan and Jane Erotic Adventure Paperback – September 1, 2012

As a long-time Burroughs/Tarzan fan, I am always interested in pastiches of the character/s. In many ways the book reminded me of Farmer's "A Feast Unknown." Although this was not "the" Tarzan, it was an interesting deception of "a" Tarzan. Overall it was well done for it's genre.

This is an erotic novel. It's sexually graphic - both physically and emotionally. It has strong insight into female sexual psyche. It's certainly not for the politically correct, prus, or anyone who's attached to a previous form of Tarzan and Jane.Jane was a 19 year old girl. She'd had Evelyn as a chaperone for years. Evelyn was 10 years Jane's senior and had been trusted with Jane's well being. A trust that was quite misplaced. She neither protected Jane's virtue, nor kept her out of trouble.She and Jane had been lovers for almost as long as they'd known each other. Evelyn had taken Jane's virginity with a wooden tool, when Jane was 13. She'd trained Jane to be a very responsive lover, and Evelyn had a craving for anal sex.Jane and Evelyn had come to Africa in search of Jane's missing father. The head of the expedition was a man named Max. Jane had been attracted to him from the start. Then one night she found him with a native girl. Jane had never been with a man, nor seen one naked before that. She'd never even kissed a man. She instantly wanted to take the girl's place in Max's arms, and denied that when Max caught her watching.Evelyn was capture by natives, though they only wanted her one night. She spent the night servicing all of them. She cried and screamed at first. Then gave up. After a few had satisfied themselves she really got into it. She'd avoided men for years, but that night awakened a need in her she'd been desperate to deny. She tried to call that night the worst experience of her life and fooled no one. Shortly afterwards she'd sought a muscular man to recreate it, screaming with pleasure so loud the entire camp could hear it.Jane's awakening was different from Evelyn's. Max was the 1st man to be with her. He taught her much. She quickly learned she preferred a man's hands, lips and tool, over everything she'd done with Evelyn. Max was determined to have Jane as his wife, even if he had drag her to his ranch cave man style.Tarzan wasn't a harmless lovable character. He was a wild/primal character. When he captured Jane he wasn't innocent, he knew exactly what he wanted from her. She tried to flee and failed. Her dress was torn from her body and she grew more thrilled with each moment. She knew Tarzan wouldn't hurt her, and also knew she'd enjoy his attentions.After their hot night together he brought Jane to a village. After being examined by the tribes women she was forced to have sex with several. One who used a strap on tool. Jane thoroughly enjoyed it all.Afterwards Jane was reunited with Evelyn, Max and her father. Her father had become the chief of the village, it had become his home. He never meant to leave.After the reunion Tarzan returned. His hunger for Jane still strong. He initiated her into anal. Evelyn was there kissing and touching Jane as Tarzan entered her butt. Jane whined, cried, and screamed. Evelyn laughed, reassured her, and envied her. Jane would never have done that willing, but she quickly came to enjoy it. She loved it enough to sleep with both Max and Tarzan at the same time.Jane and Max married eventually and planned to return to his ranch. Evelyn fell for a native, and they had a son. Evelyn chose to stay with her lover. Tarzan remained in the jungle, even after Jane left.Every step of the way both Jane and Evelyn fought what was happening. They knew they would enjoy it all, and they didn't want to. They feared their own desires. They feared surrendering control of their bodies, and they were afraid of how much they needed men. Once they stopped fighting themselves they found love, lust, and happiness.

Ok, I knew it was for adults only but I was "shocked" at the end of the first chapter. No easing into long setups for what "coming up" next. I thoroughly enjoyed this romp. Quick and easy read. Have reread it several times since I purchased it.

This book is 143 pages, but the fonts are bigger so that a short story can be made into a novel. So I would say that it is only a story of 100-110 pages.The story is about Jane (who is trying to find her father), Evelyn (Jane's chaperon), Maxwell Collins (their guide), their sex-ploits through Dark Africa, the natives they encounter, and a great white-ape who kidnaps women to enjoy himself, then makes them disappear, never to be seen again.It is about Evelyn who enjoys a whole tribe of cannibals (of a kind) before she encounters a much larger chief, of Jane who meets the white-ape called Tarzan, and of Max who finds love closer than he thinks. Jane finds her father in the most unexpected situation possible, but she accepted it, and all works out well in the end.She marries, leaves Africa for America after a year to become a homesteader's wife.Tarzan learned English from Jane during her stay, and staid in Africa.There is nothing new about this kind of book except the location and a few names. I am surprised that Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc. let the name of Tarzan to be used, as on other occasions it has been banned at one time or another.I found it a bit boring in places as there was nothing different from any other erotic short story. I would, however, recommend it to people who like these stories, but the same thing over and over is too boring for me. I give it three stars as some of it did not interest me, and the story-line was way too short.

Some reviews say that the story has a predictble ending anf just an erotic version of tarzan. But none of this realy matters when you have a nice well written story with a good narrator who describes all and every scene in details whereas all of them are full of erotic scenes.I would give this story 5 stars if i were into gang bang, orgies or i was a female.

Ok...so you know when you read something like this it's basically written porn. However, this was pretty gross. The governess in the story has been having sex with her young charge since she was 13?! So...yeah molester. Then it's just plain over the top. Gang rape... There is no finesse. If you are going to read this genre of "stuff" there are much better novels to choose from.

This story is an erotic tale loosely based on the on by edgar rice burroughs only jane is the star. She goes to africa to find her father and has various sexual encounters first with her nanny who is a lesbian who seduced her at thirteen she has sex with african natives the leader of her expedition and others her nanny is also ravished. Excellent novel I highly reccommend.

Interesting concept for a short erotic story. Definately not your run of the mill, same ol scenario. Hot and steamy.

A very hot and steamy take on an encounter, or two, with an untamed Tarzan and various others in the depths of the jungle! Definitely a different and fun read.

There she encounters a certain jungle dweller who she finds herself unable to resist.This 2012 romp is more Bo Derek than Greystoke: The Legend Of Tarzan but is still a fun adventure.

This book puts a whole new slant on the old tarzan theme and is a great read. This story could be a lot more plausable than the original!!
