This E.R. Wagner plate caster has a polyurethane on aluminum wheel, a flat base with holes for bolting or welding to an object, and a swivel design to allow movement with a 360-degree change in direction. A total-lock brake simultaneously prevents rolling and restricts swivel movement when the foot-operated lever is depressed. The plate caster's wheel consists of a polyurethane tread molded and mechanically locked to an aluminum core. The wheel rolls with ease, resists abrasion and impact, provides quiet operation, and protects floors. The tread is non-marking and has a hardness of 50 to 60 Shore D. This wheel is suitable for bearing medium to heavy loads on carpeted and hard-surfaced floors. The wheel has a recommended operating temperature range of -20 to 180 degrees F. Great casters if you get the correct ones from Amazon
Amazon kept sending out the wrong wheels (plastic core and not metal as advertised). I finally broke down and called the manufacturer and they offered to send me the right wheels if I would send them back the incorrect one's I received from Amazon (3 orders and 3 calls to Amazon). Needless to say, the manufacturer (E. R. Wagner) sent me the correct wheels and I spent an additional $15 dollars shipping them the wrong wheels I received from Amazon 3 times.But, if you can get the correct metal core wheels...these things are built like a tank! I have four of them on a Jobbox and I think I could put a car on top if I really felt the need. Strong heavy duty casters that take the abuse.

Poor quality control on orderl!!
The casters are okay but I ordered and paid for 4-6" casters and received 3-5" and 1-6". Generally not that big of a problem, do an exchange. But they are close enough in size and the same size mounting brackets that I didn't notice until I installed them, painted, and turned the table over on the wheels. Having to order and pay for another 5" caster (cheapest solution) is aggravating.
