Bought this to carry my S&W 642. It holds the revolver well, is comfortable tucked inside the waistband and allows for an easy draw of the weapon. Is it rigid and retains it shape? No. If I wanted that, I would have ordered a Kydex or stiff leather holster. I wanted something comfortable to wear that would retain my snub nose and allow for easy carry. This holster fits that task well.

This perfectly fits my Ruger SP 101 and Charter Arms Pitbull 9mm (both have a 2-1/4" barrel with exposed hammer). I have 5 or 6 holsters and this is the most comfortable, especially while sitting. The gun goes in deep enough cover the hammer without the barrel sticking out the bottom. The belt clasp is very tight and stays in my pants well. I'm not sure how the durability is yet but at under $20 I'm going to buy another one just to keep on hand.

I actually forget I have a revolver on me. Oh, I also reversed the belt hook so it goes OVER my belt instead of under and trimmed the tab about half so it goes under my belt to keep the holster in place when drawing. 10/10

I've owned a few holsters for my s&w 642 and was looking for something more comfortable to carry appendix rather than kydex.Fit - it's a pocket and could easily fit most snub nose revolvers. The material is very flexible and not firm like leather ( see pics). I have no complaints.Clip- sturdy clip and I have no complaintsProtection- holster is soft on gun and skin. I have no complaints.Ease of drawing- this is why I gave three stars, the gun sits deep in holster making the space between grip/pants small, this gap makes it hard to grip. The second thing is because it's a floppy material it molds to gun/ grips gun. I kinda like that because it's less likely to fall out, but it also makes it hard to pull out. It's like a long hard pull instead of one tug like with kydex if that makes sense.Price- awesomeThis isn't a terrible holster for price, it's comfortable, just know it's going to take a second or two longer to get gun out. This might work for some but not for all.

It holds it close without being bulky and fits great. It holds it securely, quality metal belt hook, great for the money
