When security comes first
The first thing I liked about this backpack is how stylish and elegant it looks, it is very business-like with the grey and black theme all around. I never had an anti-theft backpack before so I was pleasantly surprised how well thought out this backpack is, however, there are some things I would change and some that I would add.The build quality of this backpack is undoubtedly excellent, I have inspected the backpack and there are very few manufacturing flaws, the materials used are specifically chosen to either provide strength, slash resistance or comfort. The front has a special slash-resistant fabric which some reviewers tested, the zipper is double layered for puncture protection and I checked that for myself, the back is padded for comfort and has a fine-meshed material for breathability. The inside is not that big, only 17 litres, but is enough for essentials such as laptop, mouse, power bank, few notebooks, toiletries, etc. The inside has several compartments for a better organization such as laptop compartment, tablet compartment, battery-pack compartment with an integrated USB cable that leads to the left strap and can be used to charge the phone on the go, toiletry and electronics bag that are attached with velcro so it is more modular, and some other as well. They included the RFID pouch, however, it is inconvenient to use as you have to fiddle through the documents inside, it would have been better if they RFID protected the compartments, especially the one on the back of the backpack where the documents are stored for easier access but still protected when the backpack is worn. The TSA lock is a must in an anti-theft backpack due to flight regulations as it is much easier for airport security to open it without having to flag you and ask you to open it, however, the lock is not that safe and can either be picked or unlocked by trying all of the 1000 combinations under 30 minutes. The retractable cable lock is also a must in an anti-theft backpack so you can securely lock it to a stationary object, that way you can feel safer taking a nap on a long journey. This backpack is sorely missing either a sternum or a hip strap preferably with a lock. Sternum strap provides not only safety but support as well since the shoulder straps tend to slip when hiking or rushing, and the backpack could be yanked from the shoulders. There are definitely some improvements that could be made to make this backpack ideal solution, but still, it is a feature-full backpack with security in mind. However, no security solution is perfect so neither this backpack offers one, you should still use common sense and watch over your belongings, the security features are there to make you a harder target for a potential robber since they tend to take the path of least resistance. Here are some security flaws I see: no sternum/hip strap, the backpack can be pulled from your back, TSA lock has only 3 digits all 1000 combinations can be tried under 30 minutes, TSA lock has a security flaw where it can be lockpicked, the zipper pull tab can be cut rendering lock useless.Overall, this backpack is a good solution, it may not be the ideal one but still provides ease of mind as it is a more difficult target for a robber, so even though I do not think this backpack is the best I still gave it five stars compared to the competitor products.

A backpack that will keep your belongings safe for years
For £130 this backpack far outweighs the original Bobby Backpack that I bought for £90 three years ago. Some of the features include;- Numerous hidden zippered pockets on the sides, in the arm straps and on the back of the bag- A cut-proof material that is strong, sturdy and thick- Pockets inside that fit a tablet, laptop, phone, pens and a plethora of other gadgets- Removable zippered bags that are designed for gadgets and toiletries- An RFID bag to put all of your cards into so that they cannot be scanned remotely through the bag- An in-built USB port and cable that connects a battery pack on the inside to a port on the outside where you can plug in your phone- A 3-pin TSA-friendly lock- A drink bottle holder that unfolds out of one of the hidden pockets on the sideThere are so many features to this bag and so many hidden pockets that I often find that it's difficult to remember exactly what else it can do.Compared to the Bobby Backpack, it is larger in every dimension and has a significantly higher volume of storage space available. This is great because the Bobby was terrible for taking any more than a few shirts with you if you already have a laptop, tablet and miscellaneous gadgets, but this has enough room to fit everything I need for my journeys in comfortably.I like the removable zippered bags, which is a great idea as these also include a hook to hang up your toiletries in the bathroom. The bag is very comfortable to use and unlike the Bobby it does not have such thick material on the back, so doesn't make you sweat. It falls on your back quite flat and distributes the weight evenly across your back and shoulders, so it doesn't wear you out after a day of walking. For the price this is obviously a luxury purchase, but if you're concerned about the safety of anything you take with you, this bag will not let you down and will keep everything safe, so it is a good investment.
