2.0 Wall Mounted Aquarium - Porthole Brushed Black Fish Tank

The media could not be loaded. Exact size tank I needed. It’s definitely not 3 gallons. Just slightly over 2 gallons. Put 3 male guppy’s, That's the most you should add for such a small tank. Neon tetras would be good as well as small mid level swimmers. 5 at very most. A few small blemishes on tank. It can be mounted just fine with out using stud. Total weight with water 40 pounds. Heavy duty drywall plastic anchors work just fine. You can find 50 pound on amazon. My guy used 150 pound ones he had. Professionally installed. Overall very satisfied.

I ordered this as a decorative piece for my family room. It looks great - my family and guests all love it.Originally I placed a Betta in this aquarium, but he did not do well. The side walls have a black backing behind the plexiglass enclosure which creates a mirror effect when the light is turned on in the tank. My Betta was constantly fighting his reflection - and loosing the fight ;-(. I eventually had to rehome him to a new habitat and put different fish in this tank.Although this is a great statement piece and concept - realistically, this tank is small and can only accommodate 2-3 medium size fish or 5-8 small fish. I have two medium fish, a snail and a couple of shrimp and that is about all it can handle.I still love it, I just needed to figure out what worked and what didn't work with the size and design of this aquarium.

I think this is a really cool tank. Took my clawed water frog a day or so to get used to but now he croaks more than ever. Understandable directions and fairly easy to mount. I do wish the light connected on the top and it had a better lid.
