They work fine. Just remember that the negative terminal is smaller than the positive. Always.

Check your spacing!
These worked perfectly for me but I do have an older truck. I have nothing bad to say about the functionality but the wing nuts stick up if you have a battery that has very tight space tolerances. I was very worried that my 2004 Chevy Colorado would short out the battery when I shut the hood because they stick up an inch or more than the stock terminals.I think this is a perfect product as a low-tech replacement that can be very reliable but be aware of the added clearance you will need.
