For the money is a great all around multimeter
Will is a $9 great bussy to have in the toolbox or truck for anyone. No excuses. The display is very big and easy to read it has all the common functions and more. I have not used the square wave generator and is a nice to have that will probably never use, so yes I really do not care if it is not a perfect 5vpp square wave. The accuracy I can not talk about much, is not what I bought this for. That said I can tell you, for what is worth, is 1 mv in the 20v scale off Commercial Electric one, see pic.Leads are interchangeable and standard size which is a plus for this pricepoint.Buy it and you will not regret it.

Basic Multimeter Done Right!
I was looking to pick up a new multimeter for around the house to replace a cheap Cen-Tech meter i got that died on me. I noticed many very similar looking models in this price range, but this one stood out to me due to the color coding. I can not tell you how much better it is to have the front panel of the multimeter fully color coded as it lets you switch to the setting you need much more easily and quickly while taking measurements. Also it was a pleasant surprise that it had a English manual with pictures of the functions that was actually readable. So far I have only used the voltage and resistance test on it, but they both appeared to be spot on and worked as expected. I was also impressed by some of the extra functions this meter had compared to the others specifically the square wave signal function. Not to mention this DOES have a built in speaker for audible continuity which my previous did not and I consider that a must have on any multimeter. I would definitely recommend this for the price as it easily beats the competition.

Good inexpensive way to measure hFE for gain matching your transistors
I needed a way to gain match a large batch of transistors but couldn't afford one of the expensive tools. This was perfect. The price didn't break the bank. The unit did a great job measuring hFE on all the transistors.I didn't test how well/accurate the rest of the functions are. I just needed it for hFE - awesome for that. Since it was really easy to use for my case, I remeasured all the components several times (needed to be precise). The measurements were consistent.

Very intuitive
Big display is a sight for old eyes!! I don't have an electrical background so a really scientific type gauge will draw blank looks from me. I like this gauge so much I own a couple of them.

Terrible, inaccurate and hard to read
This multimeter is a waste of money. First, very hard to read the input settings for rotating the dial. Most of the setting "labels" for the inputs are tiny, faded and difficult to discern,As a test, I set the meter to the lowest resistance rating and shorted out the two leads. Oh, before I continue- let me say this- The black, or common lead fits into the meter perfectly and securely, but the red, or "hot" lead, does not- it will not remain firmly in. It does not fall out, but the attachment is far from firm and stable. Now, back to continuity- I shorted the two leads, and should have gotten a reading of zero, and (hopefully) an audible, indicating there was continuity. I got neither, The reading(s) for the shorting out of the two leads was not stable nor steady. It fluctuated all over- from 3.4 ohms all the way up to 100+ ohms. Garbage meter.I would return this, but for $9.87, it id not worth my time nor effort to drive over to the post office, or UPS or wherever, to send it back, I will eat the money- but now I know why it was so inexpensive. Junk.
